The Brahms symphony in F major is a peak example of the composer’s work and the brilliant Glagolian Mass by Leoš Janáček belongs to the most powerful works of sacred compositions in the history of music. Nowhere in the world is it presented very often because of the highly demanding vocal and instrumental parts, and so every performance is considered a great occasion. These two compositions resounded at an exceptional concert held under the baton of the renowned German conductor Bernhard Klee in a former factory in Brno that has been transformed into a gallery of modern art – the Wanieck Gallery.
