The Turkish piano virtuoso Fazil Say came to this year’s Prague Spring Festival with one surprise – on a specially constructed Boesendorfer piano he played Stravinsky’s four-hand version of his famous „The Rite of Spring“. One part of the piece was played back through the computer but in real sound, so you could see moving keys. This part was recorded by Fazil Say and he of course played the second part as well. The concert programme is preceded by a short introduction explaining the principle of this unique experiment.
