This program, which makes use of Moravian historical monuments, is a visual feast of the masterly composition by Leoš Janáček (1854–1928). The Glagolian Mass was written during the last and highest period of the composer’s creative life, a unique work that defies placement into any category or genre, but represents the genius of 20th-century music derived from Moravian music culture.
