Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
A series about countries, people, journeys and travelling The documentary cycle Travelmania consists of programmes that are more than mere classical travelogues. Various countries and places on our planet are presented in an entertaining manner. For example we find out how Buddhism affects the lives of Thailands inhabitants, what life is like on Cyprus, the island of love, for a handful of Czech and Slovak women who married and settled there many years ago, or how the Irish live at Valentia Island, the furthermost point of Ireland and the European Union. It is a cycle of discovery we are often shown the beauty, historic sights and contemporary life of near, far and exotic spots on our planet in quite unusual ways.
