Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
A film essay based on the diaries of Pavel Juracek, Czech script-writer and film director. Apart from other writings, 33 diaries were found in the estate of script-writer, film director and script editor Pavel Juracek (1935-1989). In Juraceks life and literary work, the diary became quite an exceptional phenomenon, reflecting both the writers glory and his curse; primarily, however, it presented a field for quite obsessive private and social analyses. Their moral urgency, the criticisms and literary excellence make the diary a work perfectly comparable to Juraceks best scripts.
