A thirteen-part serial about the first year of a young otter, a story about the yearning for freedom and life in the natural world. The story is set on Czech rivers, ponds and dam lakes. The main protagonist is the river otter, an endangered species. Although protected by law, it is often caught illegally by fishermen and hunters.
