A contemporary comedy an absurd metaphor of marriage after twenty years. Mr. Otto Posta is a quiet person lacking assertivity and beside his dominant wife usually feels in the doghouse. He goes to a psychiatrist for help but to no avail, he gets worse and his feelings of self-worth keep diminishing, until one day he truly does turn into a dog. His wife is in shock at first, but she recovers soon enough, and her husbands subservient position as Otto the dog actually suits her very well. But oh dear, Otto starts expressing all too much empathy for the neighbours fine bitch. And so he ends up in a home for unwanted dogs. But then luck smiles at him. He is taken home by a pleasant and what is more, rather good-looking widow, whose kindness and loving care soon turn Otto the dog back into Mr. Otto Posta.
