A documentary film about former Czechoslovak sports representatives Dana Zátopková, Olga Fikotová-Connoly and others in 1956. The sports representatives left for the XVI Olympic Games in Melbourne in an Air France plane. But the expedition leaders feared that some of their charges would emigrate, and so they had to return on the Soviet ship that took them practically right round the globe… They won a gold medal but the name of the Olympic winner Olga Fikotová-Connoly remained taboo for many decades because she married an American sportsman…
